We look at the condition that America finds itself today and wonder what happened.

Morally, economically, socially we are in total chaos. Political leaders blame the other party. Everyone blames the Christians, a lot of finger pointing but no resolutions. There are no answers because we as a people, a church a nation have denied the one who holds the solution to our state of decay, and we will continue to decline into this moral and social abyss until we are totally self-destructed unless we are willing to turn to the true answer.

This is more than just my opinion—this is from the one who states the truth and is the truth.  These words are from the one who told us this would happen.

-         We struggle with the debate over same-sex marriage

-         We are appalled at the number of shootings, school and workplace violence and murders.

-         Drug and alcohol addiction is epidemic.

-         STD cases are up 60% in some areas because of our acceptance of sexual impurity.

-         Greed and corruption has infiltrated our businesses, our government (starting at the top), and even our churches.

“What has happened?”

From the book of Romans 1: 21 +

“For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.”

Leaders of the immoral majority claim that because we now accept homosexuality we have become an enlightened society.  Scriptures tells it a little differently—“Men turned from the light and preferred the darkness.”

Romans go on to say—

“Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts tom sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.”

“Because of this God gave them over to shameful lust. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”

“Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind; to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, and ruthless.”

The homosexual culture is a predator culture.

In the Old Testament account of Lot and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah—when the angels came to Lot and entered his house. The men of the city surrounded the house and beat upon Lot’s door demanding that he send those men out so they could have their way with them.

Today the homosexual community is demanding that Christians approve of and participate in their perverse life style.

And there are demanding that our children be taught in grade school that same-sex relationships are natural and acceptable.

They are demanding—“Give us your children!”

 What has happened?

We have turned away from and rejected God and unless we turn back to him we have no hope!
